We will be going from Plain Street south to Lake Winnecunnet
Bring water, sunblock, bug spray (if you want it), any plant or animal identification books, and personal floatation devices. If you do not have your own canoe/kayak, please call the Conservation Office prior to August 17, 2006 at 508-285-0275 to reserve a space. Hope to see you there.
This canoe trip is part of the wildlife habitat evaluation of the Canoe River. The Open Space Committee is conducting the evaluation to document habitat types, wildlife utilization of the river and plant/animal species. The habitat evaluation will help prioritize areas for preservation.
