BLUEBERRY KNOLL WOODLANDS
Late last fall we took a walk in the Blueberry Knoll woodlands for the first time and discovered what a wonderful little place
this is. The wide dirt road is an easy walk in the woods.
It would even be easy to take a baby in a stroller on a walk there.
It would be an ideal place to walk a dog, too,
because the far end is fenced in where it parallels Route 495.
The road leads through 46 acres of wet and dry woods, mixed trees, shrubs, mosses and other plants until it reaches a
detention pond planted with native wetland plants. There are cart
paths that lead off the road that are narrower, of course, but very pretty if you are in the mood for a little exploration.
